A vintage Dahl Jensen Copenhagen porcelain hand painted and glazed cockatoo figurine. Marked to the bottom. Model no. 1051. Designed by Jens Peter Dahl-Jensen, 1874 to 1960, a Danish sculptor. In 1925, he started his own business, Dahl-Jensen Porcelainfabrik in the Husum suburb of Copenhagen. It exported a lot, mainly to the United States and Italy. Circa the 1940s or 1950s.
