An antique Japanese Meiji period Ginbari enamel vase. The ground of the vase is enameled in an ox blood shade. The vase is enameled with white, yellow, silver floral, trees and a parrot patterns made in the Cloisonne technique. Ginbari is a Japanese cloisonne technique when clear enamel is laid over a stippled silver layer applied to the copper sheet body. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century.
