A large Russian 88 gilt silver and enamel Easter egg box. The box is separated into two halves. A gilt wash interior. The exterior of the egg is enameled with blue, white, red, turquoise and green scrollwork and foliage patterns made in the Cloisonne technique. The box is adorned with enameled medallion images of flowers. Completed with a figural stand with legs. The legs are made in the shape of hooves with an openwork foliage pattern.
