This saber has a slightly curved blade made of carbon steel and decorated with etched motifs. Features a wire wrapped leather handle, and brass three-branch guard and pommel. Marked on the cross guard: Sztorc Krakow. The workshop of Henrik Storz was located in Krakow on the street. Florianskaya 47. In 1916-1919 this workshop supplied the legionnaires and soldiers of the revived Polish Army with elegant saber hilts, eagles for hats, buttons and uniform signs. At that time, there were no manufacturers of blades and scabbards in Krakow, so the bronzer could only remake foreign sabers, changing their handles to Polish ones, and possibly engrave or etch ordered inscriptions or decorations.
