A lot of three mid 20th-century black and white photographs depicting Gen. John J. Pershing. First. Full-length portrait, marked 106598 in the lower right. Second. Perching on horseback leading a parade, marked 2019 in the lower left. Third. Pershing speaking to the soldiers of the sanitary service. John Joseph Pershing, 1860 to 1948, was a senior United States Army officer who served as the commander of the American Expeditionary Forces on the Western Front during World War I and as a mentor to the US Army generals during World War II.
