A lot of three framed prints with butterflies. First. Mid 19th-century color lithograph. Marked plate XL in the upper left, inscription A. Fullarton and Co. London and Edinburgh on the bottom. After original artworks executed by Maria Sybilla Merian, 1647 to 1717, a German scientific illustrator. Black mat, relief silver-tone frame. Second and third. A pair of hand-colored engravings from Jussieus Dizionario delle Scienze Naturali, Dictionary of Natural Science, published by Batelli e Figli in Florence, Italy, in 1837. Illustrations engraved by Cellai, designed by Pierre Jean-Francois Turpin, 1775 to 1840, a French botanical illustrator. Zoologia, Entomologia Lepidotteri, Zoology, Etymology of Lepidopterans. Tav. 804, Morpho Adonis and Iphias Leucippe. Tav. 808, Ropaloceri. Chicago Academy Arts label on the backside of both items. Cardboard mat, wooden frames. Botanical Zoological Illustration, Wall Art For Collectors.

Overall good vintage condition. Signs of age and wear. Refer to photos. Sold As Is.
