An antique 19th-century French mantel clock with a pendulum and key wind-up mechanism. The clock is made of gilt and patinated bronze. It represents a portico, an arch with double corinthian columns, richly decorated with Neoclassical decor, including floral patterns, mascarons, and griffons. A lion figurine tops the entablature. The columns hold a large round white clock face with Arabic numerals and figurative handles. Number 2302 is scratched on the backside of the pendulum. Collectible Classic Decor For Cabinet Design.
