A very fine quality antique French Empire jewellery casket executed in crystal glass and gilded bronze. The glass inserts are skillfully etched with floral garlands on sides and a crossed bow, arrow and quiver on the lid. Gilded bronze mounts are representing columns with laurel wreaths, compositions with acanthus leaves, roses interviewed with ribbons. Raised on four legs. Marked: France.
