A Russian gilt silver salt throne cellar decorated with multicolored cloisonne enamel throughout the surface. The throne is surmounted with three balls and the back is decorated with the images of Sirin birds to both sides, while the hinged cover forming the seat is adorned with geometric scrollwork and floral motifs.
