A large bronze table medal was issued for Queen Victorias Diamond Jubilee in 1897. The obverse features the veiled Old Head effigy of Victoria, commissioned and produced in 1893 by Thomas Brock. The reverse bears the first coinage portrait of Victoria, the Young Head which is the work of William Wyon and was first used in 1838. A large bronze medal was made to celebrate the coronation of Edward VII in 1902, following the death of his mother, Queen Victoria in 1901. Crafted in silver, the obverse bears a crowned portrait of Edward VII in his coronation robes by George William de Saulles. His wife, Alexandra of Denmark, appears on the reverse, crowned, veiled, and draped, also made by de Saulles. Weight: Victoria: 2.5 oz., 70 gr.
