A very high quality antique porcelain and silver egg cups set composed of six German Meissen porcelain egg cups and a bowl, filigree silver holders for cups and bowl and a large silver tray with filigree border. Dated circa 1900. The egg cups and bowl features a cobalt blue exterior and white interior richly adorned with intricate golden motifs and marked with blue Meissen crossed swords on the bottom. The silver holders have medallions with finely engraved monograms. Hallmarks: Elimeyer Dresden 800, ME 800. and other German silver hallmarks.
