A nice quality American sterling silver ice bowl and ice tongs made by Redlich and Co. in the style of Paul Revere. Paul Revere, 1734 to 1818, was an American silversmith, engraver, early industrialist, Sons of Liberty member, and Patriot and Founding Father. Redlich and Co. were manufacturers of sterling novelties, hollowware and some goldwork from New York, 1895 to 1946. The bowl is marked to the bottom: Sterling, 2853, 10 in., and the makers mark depicting a lion. Both items are marked: Sterling.
