A Russian 88 gilt Silver letter and page opener knife. The blade of the knife is made of hand carved Nephrite Jade and adorned with a relief foliage pattern. The handle of the knife is covered with a green Guilloche enamel and adorned with a relief image of an Imperial monogram, and a figural head of a dog on the top. The head of the dog is encrusted with Ruby stone eyes. The letter opener is encrusted with diamonds. Marked with a standard Silver hallmark and other Cyrillic and Assay marks.
