An antique 19th-century bronze figurine representing a pheasant bird. The bird is depicted standing on a stone, under which a mouse is gnawing wheat. Fine detail work. The piece is mounted on a wooden stand. Signed F. Pautrot on the lower part of the figure. Ferdinand Pautrot, 1832 to 1874, was a French sculptor who specialized in animal and bird images.
