A four-piece porcelain tea set consisting of a square serving tray, a tea pair, a small pot, and a sugar bowl. The white porcelain has an turquoise or emerald green design with hand-painted flower medallions and gilt detailings. The bowl and pot are footed and have figurative handles. Each item has a JP hallmark on the bottom. Jacob Petit, 1797 to 1868, was a French porcelain manufacturer, especially prominent in the middle of the 19th century.
