An antique high quality cast iron bust of an Ephebe from the second half of the 19th century. Covered with a remarkable patina. Raised on a black marble with white veins base. The original of this piece was rediscovered in the 18th century at Herculaneum in the Villa of the Papyrus where it was buried in AD 79 by the eruption of Vesuvius.
