A highly decorative antique 19th century Grand Tour of Europe casket modeled as an Etruscan cinerary urn skilfully hand carved with a classical scene depicting a reclining female in a relief. The body of the casket is made of white Italian marble with bronze handles modeled as lion masks on both sides, the top handle is carved of red jasper, and the base is made of dark marble. This piece was inspired in general lines by Tuscany Etruscan art motifs but it was executed under aesthetics closer to the Victorian Era public without following strictly the ancient references.
