A vintage German crystal footed Romer Bacchus wine goblet decorated with a hand painted image of a drinking man and the inscription in German. Circa the 1960s. Usually used to serve sweet wines from the Rhine or the Moselle region. They are called Romer as a tribute to the Romans, who brought the wine grapes to Germany in the 4th century.
