An antique Russian gilt bronze inkwell depicting a cavalry officer, said to be the war hero Denis Davydov, shown seated, toasting with a charka, with the Napoleonic standard lying on the ground. The inkwells feature barrels with animal finials. Stands on a rectangular plinth with dolphin head formed feet. Circa the mid late 19th century. Antique Russian Bronze Inkwells For Collectors.
