A pair of antique hand colored lithographs on paper. The first: Autumn anagoria, depicting a gallant scene, after the original oil painting from the series, The Four Seasons, after Francois Boucher, French, 1703 to 1770; inscribed in the plate lower to the center, and marked with a copyright in the print lower right. The second: Baltimore Battle Monument after the original painting from nature by August Kollner, German, American, 1813 to 1906; lithographed by Isidore Laurent Deroy, French, 1797 to 1886. Circa: late 19th century to early 20th century. Framed. Francois Boucher is known for Rococo portrait, landscape and mythology painting, engraving, palace decorating. Isidore Laurent Deroy was a painter, draughtsman and lithographer, born in Paris, pupil of Cassas and Félix, lithographs exhibited at the Salon 1827 to 1866.
