Japanese color woodblock print depicting a river view with boats and mountains in the background. Hieroglyphical inscriptions in the lower left and upper right parts. A 1857 artwork titled View from Massaki of Suijin Shrine, Uchigawa Inlet, and Sekiya by Hiroshige. The print belongs to the One Hundred Famous Views of Edo series. Late Edo period, 1603-1868. Utagawa Hiroshige, 1797-1858, was a Japanese ukiyo-e artist, considered the last great master of this genre painting tradition. White mat, golden frame.
