A well modeled large antique bronze figure of a Dancing Faun plays the cymbals and works a clapper with his right foot. Covered with a nice dark patina. Cast after the model by Massimiliano Soldani, Italian, 1656 to 1740. Soldani made multiple versions in different sizes of this figure, a copy of a famous life-size ancient Hellenistic marble statue, which was already in the Uffizi gallery in Florence.
