A set of antique 19th century white faience plates by Digoin & Sarreguemines, a French tableware manufacture established in 1790. A total of 6 items. Each plate has a transfer-printed image in the central part representing a scene from the life of Napoleon Bonaparte, 1769-1821. The dated inscriptions in French underneath the pictures are quotes by Napoleon. The pictures and the ornamental rims are executed in black. All pieces have a Digoin & Sarreguemines France hallmark on the bottom. Collectible Antique Ceramic Tableware And Serveware.
