Oil on canvas painting, a portrait of a young man in ceremonial uniform with a blue ribbon, Order of the Southern Cross, and Order of the Golden Fleece. The first decoration is a Brazilian order of chivalry. The second is a Catholic order of chivalry awarded by the King of Spain and the head of the House of Habsburg. The man portrayed is probably Pedro II, 1825-1891, the second and last emperor of Brazil. Golden frame. Collectible Antique Fine Art.
