A Judaica oil painting on canvas, The Feast of the Rejoicing of the Law at the Synagogue in Leghorn, Livorno, after the original oil painting on canvas, 1850, by Solomon Alexander Hart, English, 1806 to 1881. Signed by the artist, Erskine, lower left. Solomon Alexander Hart RA was a British painter and engraver. He was the first Jewish member of the Royal Academy in London and was probably the most important Jewish artist working in England in the 19th century. One of a kind artwork.
