A pair of German Ken D Karl Griesbaum musical automaton singing birds in the brass cages. The gold finish cages feature a bird with real red, blue and black feathers. marked with a Ken D stamp, Made in Germany, and numbered 827939, on the base. Circa: Mid 20th century. The Griesbaum firm for more than half a century dominated among the companies that produced snuffboxes with singing birds.
