Doron Adon is an Israeli sculptor and painter, born 1940, Jerusalem. He studied at Bezalel Academy of Arts in Jerusalem, and was a student of the artists Marcel Janco and Rudi Lehman. In East West Figurine, 1974, and Woman Womb, 1974, for example, Bar Adon presented the image of women according to archaeological female cult figures. In environmental sculptures from that period, he used abstract and geometric styles. In the 1980s he began painting figurative works in expressionist style with biographical figures. One of a kind artwork.
