Lot 0415: ANTIQUE 19TH CENTURY FLINTLOCK MILITARY RIFLE

An antique flintlock military rifle with a tapering sighted barrel. Made of metal and wood with a mechanism of loading and firing. Flintlock carbines had a flint or flint stone, which when triggered the hammer produced the spark that ignited the gunpowder.
