An early Soviet painting depicting a young woman farmer with a white scarf on her hair and a knapsack behind her shoulders. Painted in watercolor on cardboard, housed in a gold tone wooden frame from the original period. No visible signature. Painted in the manner of Nikolay Kasatkin, Russian, Soviet, 1859 to 1930. Nikolay Alekseyevich Kasatkin was a Russian painter; considered to be one of the founders of Social Realism in Russia. One of a kind artwork. Soviet Social Realism Style Fine Art For Collectors.
