An antique Russian hand painted porcelain figurine by Gardner Factory. The figurine is made at a high level, naturally painted. The figurine depicts a peasant in a traditional costume sitting on a stump and making traditional shoes from bark bast. Circa: late 19th century. Marked with a red factory stamp, and numbered 4, an impressed stamp and a number. The famous Gardner factory was considered the best porcelain enterprise of the Russian Empire.
