An antique table lamp with converted modern electrical fittings. The base of the lamp is a patinated bronze sculpture that represents a lyre with a gilded female figure playing the instrument. A musical staff with the inscription Au Clair De La Lune and signature Ferville Suan are on the side of the lyre. Original off-white embroidered lamp shade. An ornamental plaque tops the stem of the lamp. Art Nouveau style. Charles Georges Ferville-Suan, 1847-1925, was a French sculptor. Collectible Antique Home Decor Items.
