All items are executed in Fedoskino, a local Russian school of lacquer painting, by Vasily Ivanovich Lavrov, 1894-1951, one of the most prominent artists of Fedoskino. The Scarlet Flower, also known as The Little Red Flower, is a Russian folk tale written by Sergey Aksakov. Snegurochka or The Snow Maiden is a character in Russian fairy tales.
