A lot of four 1940s American Newsmap posters. The maps date back to January, September, and December 1944. Issue topics: No Rest for the Axis, The Conquest and Liberation of France, Battle Area of the Pacific, Lincoln Said It Best, Map of Northern Luzon. From 1942 until 1946, the US Army published the weekly Newsmaps, double-sided posters that were meant to inform the military on the progress of the war via maps, photographs, and short news snippets.
