Fine examples of Wochenspruch der NSDAP, Weekly Quotation of the Nazi Party, a wall newspaper that was published by the Nazi Party between 1937 and 1944. It represented quotations from Nazi leaders and approved historical personalities. The lot includes issues calligraphic quotes from Franz Grillparzer, Hermann Lons, Siegfried Uiberreither, Friedrich Ludwig Jahn. First: Gebeugt erst zeigt der Bogen seine Kraft, The bow only shows its power when bent, issue 23, dated May 31 - June 6, 1943. Second: In unserm Willen liegt der Sieg, In our will is the victory, issue 44, dated October 24-30, 1942.
