George Barrie, original 1894 photoengraving after the painting titled The Bibliophiles by the Florentine painter Tito Lessi, 1858 to 1917, exhibited at the Worlds Columbian Exposition. From 1893 to 1895 the Philadelphia printer and publisher, George Barrie, was at work upon a large and lavish series of original engravings detailing exhibits of the fine art from participating countries at the exposition. Entitled in pencil and stamped with the impressed seal lower left. Antique American Prints For Collectors.
