Plate No. 9, titled in French: Assassinat du General de Brea et De Son Aide-de-Camp - Juin 1848. The scene depicts the dramatic death of General Jean Baptiste Fidele Brea and his aide-de-camp Mangin at the Maison-Blanche guard house.
