A French antique black transfer-printed faience decorative plate from the series dedicated to the funeral of Napoleon, Guyon earthenware factory of Boulen Gien Medal Exhibition 1844. Plate No 4, titled in French: La chapelle ardente de Napoleon dans la fregate de la belle poule. Decembre 1840. That is the chapel in the military vessel La belle poule where the ashes of Napoleon were placed to travel back to France after his death.
