A lot of antique late 19th-century American pins and badges. A total of seven items. Benjamin Harrison presidential campaign pin, 1888, from the collection of Monroe D. Ray. Silk souvenir ribbon, black and white portrait of Grover Cleveland and an eagle on top of the American flag, 1888. Igo Pogo pin, 1952. Whitehead & Hoag emroidered souvenir ribbon with two crossed Amrican flags and fringe, 1893. Whitehead & Hoag Club Albany, NY insignia, 1895. Capital City ribbon. American Gas Association badge, Fred Kuehn, Cleveland, Ohio. Monroe D. Ray, d. 1974, was one of the founding fathers of the American Political Items Collectors, APIC. Pogo is a character of the Walt Kelly cartoon strips. Whitehead & Hoag was a button manufacturer founded in 1892 in Newark, New Jersey that functioned until the late 1950s.
