A vintage electric desk lamp with a metal shade. The lamp is made of an antique brass triple whale oil lamp having three wicks, complete with three accessory tools, a snuffer, a clamp and wick trimming scissors which dangle from chain links. Rests on a tall pedestal and is designed to be carried by a finial loop handle. Circa the early 19th century. Comes with all necessary electric devices.
