41 reviews

An antique engraving with a chisel, etching, on paper, Night in London, a sheet number four from the series, The Four Times of the Day. Circa: early 19th century after the original, 1730, by William Hogarth, British, 1697 to 1764 and engraved by Thomas Cook in 1797. Titled in the plate lower to the center. Inscribed in the plate lower left. Framed. William Hogarth was an English painter, printmaker, pictorial satirist, social critic, and editorial cartoonist.
