A color painted aquatint engraving print after the watercolor painting by William James Bennett. Titled and dated South St. from Maiden Lane, 1828 lower center. Printed by Sidney Z. Lucas, New York, circa the mid 20th century. Matted and framed. William James Bennett, 1787 to 1844, a British painter and engraver, active in the United States from 1816. He was a founder member of the Associated Artists in Watercolour in 1808 and twelve years later was elected an Associate of the Watercolour Society. Vintage American Print Collectible.
