A mid-century miniature reproduction of a Japanese Samuri helmet. Made of bronze with of decorative forged brass elements and orange cords with knotted tassles in the front. Weight: 1120 grams. Samurai helmets, also known as Kabuto, are divided into several types. The helmet in this lot is Suji-bachi kabuto, typical for the early Edo period, 17th century.
