An Imperial Porcelain Factory decorative plate, St Petersburg, period of Nicholas I, 1796 to 1855. The cavetto is hand-painted with a picturesque scene depicting a herd of horses grazing in a landscape. Within a gilt chiseled border decorated with floral motifs.
