A lot of three framed vintage posters. First. A reprint of a 1896 Salon des Cent 40th Anniversary advertisment by Alphonse Mucha. Handsigned Edythe Irving and dated 1999 in the lower left. Salon des Cent, Salon of the One Hundred, was a late 19th - early 20th century commercial art exhibition in Paris that sold color prints and reproductions to the general public at reasonable prices. Alfons Mucha, 1860-1939, was a Czech painter living in Paris during the Art Nouveau period, best known for his decorative theatrical posters, particularly those of Sarah Bernhardt. Second. 1980s Eugene O'Neill Theatre ad for the Little Me, The Musical Comedy. The Eugene O'Neill Theatre, previously the Forrest Theatre and the Coronet Theatre, is located at Broadway, NYC and is named after a famous American playwright. Little Me is a musical written by Neil Simon, with music by Cy Coleman and lyrics by Carolyn Leigh. The 1982 revival at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre was directed by Robert Drivas; choreography by Peter Gennaro, the cast included Victor Garber, James Coco, Mary Gordon Murray, Bebe Neuwirth. Third. A poster depicting two cartoon whales in bridal wear. Inscription: Happiness is Nantucket. Nantucket is a popular American tourist destination, an island located south from Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
