An original first quality Meissen porcelain 12 piece Monkey Orchestra figurines set depicting monkeys playing musical instruments sculpted after the models by J.J. Kandler. Each on a gilt edged Rococo style base. Blue crossed swords marks and various incised numbers on the bottom. Meissen porcelain, Germany, 1870 to 1900.
