An Empire DTI finely crafted gilt bronze and malachite quartz mantel clock. Circa: 20th century. Swiss made. The design of the clock is based on Neoclassical architecture. The malachite column shafts are smooth and each culminate in a capital, supporting the malachite top. The top is adorned with a gilt bronze plaque made in a foliage design. Between the columns there is a drum clock case which features a circular enameled dial, with gold tone hands. Mounted on a gilt bronze stand. Marked on the dial.
