An elegant pair of antique Russian Empire porcelain teacups with saucers, Gardner Factory, Verbilki. The set is painted in sky blue and decorated with a gilded band of foliate and geometrical ornament, cups featuring gilded handles. All items are marked with a red overglazed factory mark inscribed in the Cyrillic: Gardner in Moscow, under the Imperial double-headed eagle. The mark corresponds to the period from 1870 to 1890s. The famous Gardner factory was considered the best porcelain enterprise of the Russian Empire.
