A centerpiece of an oval form, cut glass with silver mounted rim and two geometrically shaped silver handles. Hallmarks: F. LORIE in the Cyrillic, 84 silver standard next to a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the left. The Moscow firm Lorie was founded in 1871. Fyodor Antonovich Lorie, 1858 to 1920, owned the jewelry and silverware factories. In 1895, he opened a jewelry store at Kuznetsky Most, 4, through the wall with the Faberge store. The company produced silverware, household and interior items, various crystal frames and jewelry.
