The second: Philip Kappel, American, 1901 to 1981, etching on paper, West Indies, signed in pencil lower right, signed in the plate lower left, titled in pencil lower left. Both framed. G. H. Randall, an American artist, early 1900s, known for Etching, engraving, Old Stone Bridge calandar piece. Philip Kappel was an American painter, illustrator, printer, writer, and lecturer. He educated at the Pratt Institute in New York. He was employed as an artist for several shipping companies and much of his work documents these ships and their sailors.
