Lot 0201: RUSSIAN SILVER AND ENAMEL TAZZA WITH PHEASANT

41 reviews

The finely crafted stem is modeled as a palm tree with five broad leaves below a round coupe covered with a light chartreuse color enamel raised on a highly decorated foot with a figure of a pheasant with cabochon ruby set eyes. In the center of the coupe is a silver medallion depicting three Russian emperors in profile: Nicholas I, Alexander II, and Alexander III. The medallion is marked with an 84 silver standard and a female head in a kokoshnik turned to the right. Decorative Art For Collectors, Russian Silver Antiques, And Collectibles.
